Boy, digital marketing is flourishing so much so that all businesses including the traditional brick & mortar’s rely now on a presence online ever more.
It’s true that companies have to now invest in some form of social media, twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat and so forth. We are all aware of the success of these social media companies as they are quite often in the news, linked to conversation on billions of dollars which of course demands world attention.
SEO search engine optimization’ companies thrive also, if they are good enough today. Leading companies pay fortunes for Google AdWords for example through their own marketing departments or outsourcing to SEO companies and the competition is as fierce es ever.
Amazon, Etsy, Shopify are some main stream platforms that entrepreneurs use to launch online stores. It’s fascinating to understand the possibilities these stores offer everyone, from major companies right through to individuals working from home using laptops and cells.
Again these platforms have produced multi-millionaires but before you drop everything and heartily jump in with your wild ambitions, please note that as in most things in life, you really do need to understand what you are doing. If you understand the basics and have drive and commitment then there is no reason why one cannot succeed on the digital path.
Listening to a good mentor is most advisable. But please beware, the internet is full of so called gurus. Just as you would be careful in the physical world, please exercise extreme caution and be even more careful on the internet.
The flip side of course is that there are some great advisers online who walk the walk, talk the talk and they are who you should take advice from. Just do your homework, requires due diligence on your part.
By following proven steps, importantly, one saves time and money while on track of achieving success. I cannot stress enough that to work towards financial freedom, you will need to dedicate your time and energy towards this goal.
The levels of finance that everyone wants or needs differs and knowing your limitations helps because if you consider that we all have failures as well as successes in our lives, it is good grounding in making us stronger and wiser.
So, with strength, understand how to balance family life with work. Having support from family members and or friends helps immensely but if you really believe in your idea, your dream, then go for it and do your utmost to balance it out with your nearest and dearest.
Most of us will advise you that focus, dedication and grit are keys to achieving dreams. It is so important to get this and when you do, you discover that it’s not so difficult. It is all about prioritizing and balancing your time. Action, taking action is the fundamental key.
Each step of your plan requires action and that’s what you do at the same time as avoiding distractions by putting your social life on hold for a period on you’re cell, online for example. Each step could begin with switching face-book off for a period and so forth. Then you can focus on your business tasks. If you have busy family commitments, you can still find some time to commit even if it means missing out on TV time.
Allow yourself a little time slot in your daily schedule towards achieving your goal, whatever it takes. Eventually, by taking action towards financial freedom, yours and your families time will become fabulous with freedom to explore and spend healthier time doing what you like without the stressful limitations imposed on our daily lives.
It’s indescribable. Just remember a time and feeling of how you felt on your best vacation ever, then start to imagine what your life could be like with that kind of freedom.
With that being said, the digital world is wide open to people who are prepared to work towards success. One of the the most exciting aspects is that literally anyone can begin as you don’t need a lot of cash to launch a business and most of us have the basic tools already to begin.
This means that people can get started while retaining a full time job without the burden of heavy financial risk, it’s doable. With traditional brick and mortar businesses, it’s far more difficult for most to startup. The risks would be too great as capital for either a franchise, rents for shops, warehousing, salaries, produce, products, motors and so forth are the norm.
So, as I said earlier, with a laptop, cell and depending on which route you take along the digital highway, some money is required for investment as in any business. For example, if you decide to sell goods online through your own store you would need to either pay monthly for a store on Shopify or invest in a website which would need hosting fees at the least. If you wanted to promote yourself to companies for SEO, you would need to first learn how it all truly works and use software and so forth.
Compared to traditional business, online investments are manageable by virtually everyone. Beware though, anyone who makes statements such as “you can make bucket loads of wonga online in the next two weeks for free” is spinning you a yarn.
In a nutshell, YOU can do it. Yes you can by using common sense, dedication, commitment and following the true path to success.
As a side note: we only promote people and goods that we truly 100% believe in, and the advice we offer our tribe is in that absolute vein.
